At Caves Ambacia, you are invited to step into one of the Loire Valley’s most emblematic wine landmarks. With roots tracing back to 1463, this estate preserves the legacy of Loire winemaking. Its 15th-century troglodytic cellars, carved into tuffeau stone cliffs, offer an ideal setting to explore French viticultural heritage.
You can enjoy immersive experiences like the Sensorial Tour, engaging the senses through aromatic, tactile, and visual encounters with the Loire’s terroirs. It presents winemaking in an intuitive way for both novices and connoisseurs. For a deeper historical perspective, the Vintages Odyssey grants access to wines dating back to the 19th century, revealing how winemaking has evolved over generations.
The visit ends with a guided tasting led by a professional sommelier in a contemporary lounge. Three wines are presented, each highlighting a different expression of the Loire Valley. You can ask questions, explore flavors, and pair wines with optional boards of cheeses and charcuterie.
